Our Story

In the heart of Morris County, a group of parents, families, and friends came together with one shared vision: to build a community rooted in love, support, and action. We saw a need—not just for safe spaces, but for strong connections. We recognized that real change starts with showing up, speaking out, and standing together. Our PFLAG Morristown/Morris County chapter was born from a simple but powerful belief: Everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported—exactly as they are.

Too often, LGBTQ+ individuals in our area face isolation, misunderstanding, and fear. Families sometimes struggle to navigate unfamiliar conversations. Allies want to help but don’t always know how.

That’s why we formed—because love alone is not enough. It must be active, informed, and fiercely protective.
